This family-run home in the heart of Banbury has a lot to offer residents, as well as their loved ones – and staff, too. Since 2003, we have been providing care of the highest quality, with most of our residents having moved in from the local area.
No matter the level of care required by you or your loved one, our team will create a tailored care plan to support your needs and wishes. By offering person-centred care, we not only consider the physical health and medical requirements of our residents but also their wellbeing, their happiness and how fulfilling their life is. All of these factors are equally as important in our eyes.
All of this is offered in our homely, extended terraced home, which oozes character but has been adapted to ideally suit the way our home works. It has light, open spaces for our residents to spend time in, areas of interest for those living with dementia to focus on, and 40 bedrooms full of personal touches, so everyone has their own space with their private possessions.
Our home is a comfortable, inviting place, with a kind and compassionate team here to provide specialist nursing, dementia and respite care. Why don’t you come and find out a bit more about how we can help you and your family with our high-quality care in a real home from home?
There’s always something going on in Banbury, a charming, thriving Oxfordshire market town, with a wide variety of shops, cafés, hotels, restaurants and pubs, along with bakeries selling the town’s famous Banbury Cakes. On the edge of the Cotswolds, Banbury is well-connected, and it’s quite straightforward to get here no matter where you are in the country – the town is just off the M40 at junction 11 and there are regular trains to London from the railway station. With the Grand Union Canal and the River Cherwell flowing through this bustling town, and with its own canal wharf and museum, there’s plenty to see and do.
A little further afield, you’ll find Bicester Village designer shopping outlet, Aynho the ‘apricot village’, the National Trust’s Upton House and Broughton Castle and Church amongst others – we visit many of these wonderful places on our day trips from Julie Richardson Nursing Home.
If either you or a loved one is in need of high-quality, compassionate and person-centred nursing care in Banbury, our team is here to help at Julie Richardson Nursing Home.
It can be difficult for everyone involved when a loved one is living with dementia, which is why we’re here to give you that all-important peace of mind by providing the ideal level of care.
If you or a loved one would benefit from a short-term stay at Julie Richardson Nursing Home, our respite care is here to help with rest, recuperation, relaxation and rehabilitation.
My wife received excellent care. The staff at The Julie Richardson Nursing Home are thoughtful and caring. Everyone is always very friendly and supportive. I couldn't wish for her to be staying anywhere else.
